British Council Announces Finalists

Amman — The British Council (BC) in Amman announced Monday the 11 finalists for the Study UK Alumni Awards 2021-22 in Jordan, selected from more than 1,500 international applicants, with the four winners to be announced at a ceremony on January the 30th.

In a press release, BC said the nominees were selected for their outstanding achievements as business professionals, entrepreneurs, and community leaders and contributing to reinforcing communal bonds between the United Kingdom and Jordan.

“The prestigious international award celebrates UK higher education and the achievements of UK alumni worldwide. Now in its eighth year, international UK alumni applied from more than 100 countries, representing more than 140 UK higher education institutions across the UK”, the BC augmented.

BC’s director said: “We are delighted to launch the British Council’s Global Study UK Alumni Awards in Jordan for this first time this year,” adding that the nominated finalists have all their UK education as a started their road to success in their chosen careers with a UK education to shape the world around them.
