Wizz Air Operates First Trip to Jordan

Aqaba — The Hungarian ultra-low-cost Wizz Air operated its first flight to Jordan from Bucharest, landing at the King Hussein International Airport in Aqaba.

Wizz Air, which has eight destinations, operates four lines to and from Amman (Queen Alia International Airport) throughout the year, from Hungary’s Budapest, Milan, Rome, and Vienna. Four other lines to and from Aqaba (King Hussein International Airport) will be operated during winter only, from Hungary’s Budapest, Romania’s Bucharest, Austria’s Vienna, and Italy’s Rome,

The Jordan Tourism Board stated that the Hungarian low-cost carrier could transfer 167,000 tourists to Jordan, and trips may rise to 32 weekly.
