The National Carrier Project Moving Forward

Amman — The Ministry of Water and Irrigation has revealed that a Request for Proposal (RFP) will be sent to 5 prequalified consortiums to construct the National Carrier project.

The ministry communicated that the future project shall be completed by 2027 and is expected to provide Amman and several country regions with roughly 300 million cubic meters of desalinated seawater from the Red Sea.
