Amman — Jordan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates extended condolences on Thursday to the government and people of India over the tragic helicopter crash that claimed the lives of the Indian Chief of Defense Staff Gen Bipin Rawat, his wife and 11 others.
The Mi-17V5 helicopter crashed near Coonoor city. Gen Rawat, 63, was appointed as India’s first-ever Chief of Defence Staff in January 2019.
